When encountering multiple complaints addressing a common issue, we kindly request that you consolidate these concerns into a single ticket thread. This approach ensures that our Support System remains organized and prevents the duplication of tickets.

If you've already initiated a ticket with our Legal & Abuse Department and find the need to provide additional information, we encourage you to use the existing ticket thread. This streamlined communication process minimizes the need for cross-referencing and reduces any potential confusion.

Important to note

  • Prior to submitting your concern, kindly ensure that the domain name in question is indeed using our services. To verify the domain name's registration status, you can visit the Whois lookup page. Additionally, if you need to determine the IP address linked to the domain name, you can visit https://toolbox.googleapps.com/apps/dig/#A. After obtaining the IP address, proceed to confirm the details by visiting https://whois.domaintools.com. This step will enable you to access the contact information of the hosting provider associated with the returned IP address.
  • Some types of abuse may not be verified from our side if we only act as a registrar and the abusive content resides on third-party servers. Due to this, we will not take restrictive action in order to avoid false-positive cases. This policy particularly affects copyright/DMCA, email abuse/spam, fraud, malware/hacking activity, etc.
To expedite the resolution, we highly recommended escalating websites that are registered with Spaceship only to their respective hosting provider supporting your report with sufficient evidence.
You might also decide to get in touch with the domain name holder directly by using the Whois details that are assigned to that domain name. If the Whois details are hidden by our Domain Privacy  service, feel free to сontact the Domain Registrant via the form specified in the Registrant Email field. It will then be forwarded to the real email address of the domain holder.
We would like to make clear that we will not be able to provide you with any contact information of the domain name holder without expressed permission from the customer, except under limited circumstances such as an official U.S. Court Order or Subpoena. Please refer to Spaceship Court Order & Subpoena Policy.
  • Our general ticket processing time is 24 hours, but it may vary for each specific case.
  • It's important to note that while we might not always provide detailed feedback regarding our investigation outcomes, please be assured that your complaint is carefully assessed, and necessary steps are taken in alignment with Spaceship's policies.
You are welcome to check yourself if the domain is active by searching the domain status via Spaceship Whois Lookup. When you search for the domain status using this tool, please be aware that if the domain is under clientHold or serverHold status, it signifies that the domain has been suspended and is currently inaccessible on the Internet.
  • If you have any questions regarding the specific types of activities considered to be abusive by Spaceship, please review our Acceptable Use Policy in Universal Terms of Service Agreement (Paragraph 7) and Hosting Terms of Service (Paragraph 4) as well as other legal documentation.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post, we hope it helps.
