• After the transfer process is complete, domains that use the default nameservers of your previous registrar will stop working, resulting in downtime for any connected services, such as your website and mailbox. You will need to point your domain to Spaceship nameservers and set up the required records after completing the transfer process.
• After transfer completion, a 1-year renewal will be added to the top-level domains (TLDs) that are mandated by ICANN or the corresponding registry to be renewed. .ai, .uk, .co.uk, .me.uk, and .org.uk TLDs will not be renewed.
• The .ai registry charges a $140 fee for all .ai transfers. This fee is not imposed by Spaceship and is mandatory by the registry. It will be listed as the price, at the time of placing a transfer order.
• You'll receive a free domain privacy subscription provided with every eligible domain registration or transfer. Your subscription is provided by Withheld for Privacy and the services agreement it holds with Spaceship. Terms and conditions apply.
• Due to the registry restrictions, domain privacy is unavailable for certain TLDs. Check the Domain Privacy page for more information.
• If you have renewed your domain within the last 45 days: The 1-year extension typically added to the domain during a transfer may not be included. This situation occurs only if the domain expired before you renewed it with your previous registrar. If this is the case with your domain, we recommend you wait to move your domain until the 45-day period has passed, allowing you to take advantage of the extra year added.
