How to enable/disable Jellyfish filtration?

Settings option allows you to disable and enable incoming Jellyfish filtration (enabled by default) in the Jellyfish interface. Once you turn off Jellyfish, the filtration for your domain gets disabled completely so that you will receive all the emails sent to the email address, even spam ones. All the blocklist or accpetlist rules created by you in the interface will also stop working.

NOTE 1: Disabling anti-spam filtration makes you vulnerable to email threats (such as spoofing, phishing, viruses, or malware) and that's why it's highly recommended to keep the filtration on to ensure that you are not exposing your email addresses to security risks.

However, if you decide to disable the Jellyfish filtration anyway, you will need to do the following:

  1. Log into the Jellyfish dashboard. Check how to do it in this guide: How to log into the Jellyfish dashboard

  2. Once logged in, go to the Settings tab

  3. Click on Disable Jellyfish and then confirm your choice by choosing Yes, disable Jellyfish in the pop-up window. You will then see the notification that the filtration is disabled

NOTE 2: Once filtration is disabled, it is impossible to create, add, or edit blocklist or acceptlist rules. It will be necessary to enable filtration back to do that.

A valid email is required
