VPS AUTOBACKUP

AutoBackup is a built-in service that automatically creates backups of your Spaceship virtual machines. Once enabled, backups run once every 24 hours and are stored securely, so recent restore points are always available when you need to recover data.

Each AutoBackup plan is connected to one virtual machine. If you want to back up multiple VMs, you’ll need to enable AutoBackup for each VM separately.

This keeps backup storage and restore points clearly scoped per workload.

Yes. Each AutoBackup plan includes a fixed amount of backup storage, depending on the plan you choose. The backup storage size must be large enough to store backups of the connected VM.

You can select a plan with more storage if your VM or data size grows.

If the AutoBackup storage size is smaller than the VM, the AutoBackup plan cannot be connected and backups will not run.

To enable backups, you’ll need to choose an AutoBackup plan with sufficient storage to match the size of the resource you want to protect. The table above shows which AutoBackup configs correspond with which VM plans.

AutoBackup is billed as a separate service based on the plan you choose. Pricing depends on backup storage size and retention, and billing details are shown clearly before activation.

You can manage, upgrade, or remove AutoBackup plans directly from VPS Manager.
