By default, we don’t apply any traffic shaping or rate limits to your VM. Each VM can use up to 1 Gbps port speed, which is the maximum available for both upload and download.
In some cases, temporary limits may be applied to protect the network. This usually only happens if abusive activity is detected. For example, we might temporarily limit bandwidth for a specific IP or subnet.
In more serious situations, such as a large DDoS attack targeting a single IP, the IP may be temporarily blackholed to keep the network stable and protect other users.
