According to the .eu registry requirements, the following people are eligible to register .eu domain names:
A Union citizen, regardless of their place of residence
A natural person who is not a Union citizen but is resident in a Member State
A business established in the Union
An organisation established in the Union, without prejudice to the application of national law
Please note that the registration data will be verified, and EURid (the registry operator of .eu domains) will carry out security checks on the domain name registration before or after the delegation of the domain name. The data checked includes the holder's name, address, email, and phone number to ensure the domain names have correct data and are not used for abusive purposes.
The registry sends an email to domain owners if some registrant data needs to be verified. If there is no response to their emails (and several reminders, including sometimes personal calls) from the registrant within the specified deadline, the domain name will be suspended and can be reactivated once the domain name holder confirms the correctness of their data via the My .eu Platform.

Currently, it is not possible to register a .eu domain with a non-EU address indicated in the domain contacts. Please ensure you have a valid EU address to successfully register a .eu domain.
